About this ebook

Three best friends who drifted apart. One epic summer trip to reunite them.

No one expected vibrant, fun-loving Justine Emerald to pass away at fifty – least of all her three high school best friends. Their shock is compounded when they return home for her memorial and hear the request in Justine’s last will and testament: to take one last trip together to spread her ashes.

Valerie, the most outgoing of the bunch, is all for it. Her once-promising country pop career died in the 90’s, and she has all the time in the world. Lisa is easily convinced, having just lost her job in less-than-ideal circumstances that she’d like to keep private. It’s Michelle who has the most doubts – she’s wary of spending so much time with her old friends, especially when dramatic Valerie is convinced Justine’s ex-husband had something to do with her death.

Nothing ignites the bonds of sisterhood like a little scheming, though, and it’s not long before Valerie gets the group into some hot water. Will white sand beaches, five-star hotels and a hefty dose of mischief be enough to bring the old friends back together, or will Justine’s last gift to them be in vain?

The Summer Request, a standalone women’s fiction novel, is the perfect beach read to pair with a tropical drink and a tiny umbrella. Download today and dive into this heartfelt, funny, summer adventure!

The Summer Request starts a new series with heart, humor and suspense. Three best friends on a road trip to spread the ashes of their friend who died much too young. This well plotted book held my attention from beginning to end. The friends have trouble because no one seems to be talking about how their formerly healthy friend died so suddenly. As they take the trip Justine planned, they start investigating. There are several very funny moments as these women renew their relationships, mourn their friend and plan revenge on her ex-husband. I thoroughly enjoyed their journey.

About the author

Amelia Addler writes always sweet, always swoon-worthy romance and women's fiction stories and believes that everyone deserves their own happily ever after. Her soulmate is a man who once spent five weeks driving her to work at 4AM after her car broke down (and he didn’t complain, not even once). She is lucky enough to be married to that man and they live in Pittsburgh with their little yellow mutt.
