About this ebook

Don’t miss book three in the #1 New York Times bestselling Maze Runner series, now a major motion picture starring Dylan O’Brien!

WICKED has taken everything from Thomas: his life, his memories, and now his only friends—the Gladers. But it’s finally over. The trials are complete, after one final test.

What WICKED doesn’t know is that Thomas remembers far more than they think. And it’s enough to prove that he can’t believe a word of what they say.

Thomas beat the Maze. He survived the Scorch. He’ll risk anything to save his friends. But the truth might be what ends it all.

The time for lies is over.

The first two books, The Maze Runner and The Scorch Trials, are also #1 worldwide blockbuster movies featuring the star of MTV's Teen Wolf, Dylan O'Brien; Kaya Scodelario; Aml Ameen; Will Poulter; and Thomas Brodie-Sangster!

Also look for The Fever Code, the much-buzzed-about series conclusion that finally reveals the story of how the maze was built, and James Dashner's other bestselling series, the Mortality Doctrine: The Eye of MindsThe Rule of Thoughts, and The Game of Lives.

The Maze Runner was good. The Scorch Trials was (in many ways) better. However The Death Cure was a disappointing end to a fantastic overall series. The author really only had two options as far as an ending goes: he could either make WICKED continue to be the evil beast that it was continually in Thomas's eyes, or he could introduce more plot twists as Variables that would lead to the eventual discovery of a cure for the Flare. Unfortunately, for some reason, the author chooses neither of these. He makes scrap of all of the Variables, makes WICKED give up, and then makes them look good despite their failure. The reader should either feel satisfied that WICKED was destroyed and Thomas and his friends escape to safety or should feel thrilled that a cure to the Flare was discovered. The reader receives no such satisfaction, effectively making everything that happened in the previous two books pointless. In conclusion, I loved the premise of this series, but the author would have done much better if he extended The Maze Runner to include the end of The Death Cure and painted WICKED as the evil group that they always should have been. The Death Cure: what a terrible name for this book

Worst book in the series to be honest... It was great altogether but the ending... I don't know what James' idea of a plot twist is, but it sure as heck isn't killing off one of the main characters. Hopefully the kill order is better. OVERALL - 3 stars Ending SUCKED - he could have added a lot more in my opinion Entertaining - Kept me sucked in the entire time. Can't put it down.
