A.J. Skelly has a fantastic gift for creating characters that you can relate to and care about as if they were friends. This book has just the right amount of adventure, tension, and romance perfectly balanced. Safe for the teen audience, not smutty. The supporting characters stick with you long after you finish reading the book. The mentors are full of wisdom. The sidekick friends make you wish you were part of their friend group.
