This was another fun and entertaining book in the Mission Impossible set. This one contains the story of Gabe and Lauren. Lauren is a fashion designer who has been tasked with making her half-sister's wedding dress, her trousseau and the other wedding party dresses. Lauren is also Tiffany's maid of honor. Gabe is a Special Ops soldier, brother of the groom and once dated Tiffany. Tiffany and her and Lauren's father have decided that Tiffany should have a Christmas wedding at a lodge on top of a mountain. Due to the amount of snow that is accumulating and flights being cancelled, Gabe and Lauren are going to have to drive the rest of the way in order to get there on time. On the drive, Gabe tries to enlist Lauren's help in putting a stop to this wedding because he just knows that there is no way that the high strung Tiffany could be truly in love with his nerdy scientist brother. Lauren and Gabe soon realize that they are attracted to each other, but they must navigate their relationship through bratty and nosey little sisters, a narcissistic father, a neurotic half-sister and a well meaning group of brothers. This book is a quick to read and should bring a smile to your face. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
