Eleven enchanting stories of murder, mystery, and mayhem, wrapped in fantastical realms where private detectives, police consultants, and bounty hunters wrangle with elves, nephilim, and shifters. A great set of stories that where all well worth reading. Veiled Threats by Melissa Erin Jackson is one of the stories. Most of these Authors are new to me. About the author

Christopher D. Schmitz writes mostly genre fiction, especially SciFi and Fantasy, but also stories that have been called “Stephen King-esque.” He also writes non-fiction, dabbles in game design, and speaks/presents at libraries, comicons, schools, and more. If you met him at a convention, he may have been in a costume. He can be found online at www.authorchristopherdschmitz.com.

Cindy Carroll is a member of Sisters in Crime and a graduate of Hal Croasmun's screenwriting ProSeries. She writes screenplays, thrillers, urban fantasy, science fiction, and paranormals, occasionally exploring an erotic twist. A background in banking and IT doesn't allow much in the way of excitement so she turns to writing stories that are a little dark and usually have a dead body. She lives in Ontario, Canada with her husband and two cats. When she's not writing you can usually find her painting landscapes in oil, playing video games (Sims 3 and Sims 4 are favourites), or watching her favourite television shows marathon style. Find Cindy online at www.cindycarroll.com.

Killian Wolf is a Miami, Florida native who enjoys pirates, rum, and skulls as much as she loves writing about dark magick and sorcerers. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology and Sociology and a Master of Science in Environmental Archaeology and Palaeoeconomy. Killian writes books about obtaining magickal powers and stepping into other dimensions. She lives in England with her husband, a tornado of a cat, and the most timid snake you’d ever meet. When she isn’t writing, you might find her at an Archaeological dig, rock climbing, or sipping on dark spiced rum while working on a painting. Find Killian online at www.killianwolf.com.

Melissa Gunn spent several years pursuing a science career (she earned a doctorate) before deciding it would be fun to write fiction. It turns out that there is even more research involved. Luckily research is one of her favourite things. She enjoys combining facts that seem fantastical with actual fantasy, and creating quirky characters with a sense of humour. When she’s not trying to figure out how a volcano demigod would problem-solve, she is feeding her backyard menagerie, chasing chickens out of the garden, or taking photographs of whatever will stand still for long enough (mostly plants). Find Melissa online at www.melissagunn.com.

Melissa Erin Jackson lives in Northern California with her boyfriend and way too many pets. She divides her time between operating a dog walking business and writing. She (mostly) writes paranormal mysteries. Some of them are very cute and some of them are very creepy. Find Melissa online at www.melissajacksonbooks.com.

Willem Killian writes to placate the voices in his head. Mostly they talk to him about things in the dark, but once in a while, they prove that even monsters have a sense of humor. Find Willem online at www.willemkillian.com/gcwizard/.

Katherine Tomlinson is an Amazon and internationally bestselling author. A former reporter, she prefers making things up. An Army brat, her motto is "Have passport, will travel." She currently lives in Portugal. For her online at www.kattomic-energy.blogspot.com.

D. Gabrielle Jensen, an award-winning bestseller, was born and reared in the rural mountains of Colorado, but she has asphalt in her veins, feeling a lifelong call to the city, any city, to chaos and noise, to steel and glass. It is for that reason her characters make their homes in a city. Urban fantasy became the genre that made the most sense, infusing fantasy and the paranormal into the music of the City. She loves things that begin with the letter "C"—coffee, cats, cities, conversation, concerts—and things that don't—airports, macro photography, urban decay, macro photography of urban decay, and the beauty of flaw. Find her online at www.dgabriellejensen.com.

Kiesha Thomas writes many genres but has a soft spot for urban fantasy. She lives in the South with her family and her fur babies. As an air force brat she grew up traveling and appreciating different cultures. She is currently working hard with Amelie Degarmo on a mystery. Besides writing she loves to hear from her fans. Sign up for her newsletter and drop by on social media to say hello. Find Kiesha online at www.kieshathomas.com.

Amelie Degarmo writes paranormal stories with sassy heroines who love to solve mysteries and save the day. She lives in the south with her family and an ankle slayer named Tyler. When she’s not writing magical stories, Amelie loves to travel, watch paranormal shows and binge eat dulce leche cheesecake. She’s a romantic at heart and loves a happy ending. When she was a kid, she was torn between being a Thunder Cat or She- Ra Princess of Power. In the end, she grew up becoming an author who crafted stories she wished she could read when she was younger. Amelie has not encountered any vampires or sexy werewolf shifters, but she does believe in ghost. She loves to connect with her readers. Sign up for her newsletter and stay connected to find out when her next book will be released. Find Amelie online at www.ameliedegarmo.com.

Celia Roman lives in the Southern Appalachians, surrounded by generations of family and myth. Her stories are inspired by a natural interest in the paranormal and too many late-night reruns of Supernatural. Find her online at www.celiaroman.com.
