This is my voluntary review of a copy I received from HiddenGems. I think this was more of a romance between the main female character and the town. The townspeople were fantastic, so gracious and helpful.... like a big happy helpful family. She was there to do a job but the town felt at home, because of the people in it. The male main character spent so much time running hot and cold toward the girl. You could see he wanted to like her and trust her, but then he'd remember his misjudgement of another and pull way back.

Love at the Fall Festival is small town romance at its best! I fell in love with Sugar Maple, a town where everyone knows your business but all turn out to help you, just as Brynn did. She has an impossible task to accomplish and Jack keeps standing in her way. You will want to read this well written book to see if Brynn can find a way to make events work for Oakleaf Manor despite Jack's doubts. I could not put the book down!
