Sean and Josie’s love story was a fun adventure in Rogue Gentleman by Kylie Gilmore, book eight in The Rourkes series. Sean was renovating his ex-girlfriend’s house bartering work for a place to stay. He wasn’t just surprised that he suddenly had a roommate, he was angry. This “girl” was a distraction with her cute body and enthusiasm. He was struggling to meet his deadline as it was since he still had his day job. Josie was an actress between jobs and crashing on couches until she landed at her cousin’s place. She knew it was temporary as she had plans to return to LA for her dream job. Having a roommate who was super grouchy didn’t quite match up to his good looks. Having Josie “help” Sean with the renovation made more work for him, but gave them both an opportunity to truly get to know and understand each other; maybe even fall for each other. Josie was pleased to see the true gentleman that Sean could be. Ms. Gilmore wrote a wonderful and moving story that is definitely not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sexual chemistry, amusing banter, challenging situations, and endearing characters giving Sean and Josie a chance to find loved. I highly recommend Rogue Gentleman to other readers and look forward to the next book in the series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Another great story in The Rourkes series. The Brooklyn branch of the family are in construction but Sean dreams of more and is working to secure his future. Josie is an unemployed actress hoping to make it big. Sean and Josie get off to a rocky start but soon enough they sort out their differences for a HEA.
