Shaun (FMC) has a haunted past, and an over-protected life leads to a wild side. Drew (MMC) once was her bodyguard, but after a mistake it’s been years since he had seen her or her father. So, when they show up needing help, history comes to the surface. But with that history leads to tension and some serious steamy scenes. I enjoyed the grit in this book along with the storyline. I will continue with this series. TW/18+

He is one WICKED man! Holy HOT and POSSESSIVE Alpha man! I love reading a delicious MC but add in a man who never gives up until he claims her, SOLD! It's got a little bit of everything that you would want in a MC romance.

Okay, this story just sucked me right in. Shaun and Drew are both strong characters. When Shaun's dad asks Drew to watch over her because he is afraid she will be hurt, Drew reluctantly agrees. He loved Shaun's mother and was devastated when she died years ago and now he can see that Shaun is just like her mom. Both struggle with their feelings but when it comes down to it, Drew doesn't want to let her go. When the enemy gets her, he will do whatever it takes to get her back and this time, he's not going to let her go. I loved this whole book and honestly can't wait for the next one. This one started this series off with a bang and things can only get better from here.
