About this ebook

Professional success. Personal failure.

As a respected cancer specialist, Paul Webster knows what he's doing. At least, he does at work. His home life's another story.

Now he's been thrown into a spin by a patient's death and her unshakeable confidence in life beyond the grave.

He’s always dismissed Christians as simplistic fools but this woman didn't fit his stereotype. What if there is truth beyond what he can learn with lab tests and logic? And what will checking out the truth cost him?

Grace Beneath the Frost is a soul-stirring contemporary Christian novel. Book 5 in the Grace series.

If you like compelling Christian fiction, relatable characters, and real emotion, then you’ll love Christine Dillon’s inspiring series.

I really liked Grace Beneath the Frost (and the way it ended). The first third or so I would give 4 stars and the rest 5 stars. I think the reason for this change in rating is that Paul is almost an entirely new character to the series and there was a bit of ground work that was needed to set up the rest of the story. The descriptions really involve me in the story and I feel like I am a spectator watching things play out as they happen. Many of the descriptions take me to times and places where I have experienced similar things. I love the challenges and issues the book explores and all the practical wisdom it brings and incorporates. I'll admit to tearing up on several occasions while reading Grace Beneath the Frost. I think this book could easily be recommended a stand alone (much like Grace in Deep Waters), but is also a great addition to the 'Grace' series by Christine Dillon. I was invited to help proofread this book and so received an advanced copy, however I am also eagerly awaiting the opportunity to purchase a hard copy of the book. For me it is a keeper and one to be recommended and lent out to friends and family for sure.

Delightful fifth instalment! Some old friends and some new characters, and lots of added depth. Dillon is very real about the ups and downs of being a Christian in (nearly) contemporary Australia. The ending hits the perfect note.

The Grace series book 5 is an interesting story about a respected Cancer Specialist who has his own set of challenges in his personal life. God doesn't forget the prayers for and testimony of His children for unbelievers, from days gone by, and continues to answer these prayers. God is at work in this Oncologist's life and it is encouraging to see the way He begins to transform his life at a time when things are falling apart for him. A really good read.
