She didn’t plan on becoming an apprentice to Lucien Dunadine, one of the strongest members on the Council of Mages.

She really didn’t plan on taking part in a deadly competition against Isak Uchida, her handsome, aggravating, dangerous opponent.

But with something sinister going down in the magic boroughs, all three of them will have to work together if they want to uncover the source of an ancient evil threatening their home.

And if they fail, everyone and everything they love will be consumed by darkness…

Congratulations to the author! I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I'm only disappointed that I haven't got the others yet. Keep up the great work.

Great read for young adults or anyone wanting a different take on magic with his use of the "Null" idea.

About the author

Sean Fletcher was born in the broiling, arid state some people lovingly refer to as Texas. He is the Amazon bestselling author of YA urban fantasy, in addition to other forthcoming books whose characters will not give him a moment's peace until they get their turn in the spotlight. When not making things up and putting them on paper, he can be found hiking, biking, or traveling, sometimes all at the same time.
