Galactic Pirate Brides: Volume One: Box Set Volume One

The Galactic Pirate Brides box set includes the currently released books in the series Rescued by Qaiyaan, Ransomed by Kashatok, and Claimed by Noatak about a group of alien 'pirates' from a race called Denaidans whose home planet was destroyed by a corporation. The species has an interesting quirk that involves ionic abilities (superpowers works, but they're just a facet of the race) which are really useful, but also meant that their females couldn't leave the planet (sensitivity issues) so they all died. Since coupling with other races usually ends in death for the female in question, we have a group of very lonely aliens on our hands, bent on revenge for their people. These three books each center around a different couple and the interesting ways they develop relationships, as well as the gradual furthering of the overall revenge storyline. The heroines range in personality and nature, but all are unique in their own right and have some interesting backgrounds. There's lots of action, space travel, family drama, camaraderie, steamy moments, heart wrenching events, and fun characters. Just wait till you meet Twerp. :D Definitely should give this series a go.
