I loved this book and couldn't stop listening to it. The story captivated me and kept my attention from beginning to end. I can't wait to get my hands on book 2!

This was the first book that I have read/listened to by Rhiannon Frater and I can't wait to check out more of her books.

I was instantly drawn to Roman and his love for his family and heritage. He was strong, devoted and constantly tried to be a better person, not only for himself, but his sisters and then his extended family. I loved his connection to his sisters Alisha and Vanora. His sisters - I loved their connection with each other and with their older brother.

Armando is like the Dark Horse in the story line. I want to like him and hate him at the same time. His character intrigues me and I want to no more.

The narrator did a phenomenal job with this book. I think this my favorite narration of hers yet!

Different set up than usual. A different type of character as human turned vamp and trying to survive their turning and hang on to lives they lived. A sister who is an albino quirks the story promising a dark secret prophesy that endangers her human life to what end? Sex, done well not just for added words 😊

What the holy heck. damn is this book good ? It did confuse me at 1 point; I didn't know it was going back-and-forth from the past to the present, so I was a bit confused. But man, having a crush for so long and finally being able to be with that person just to walk away from them. Like what the hell, but I get it, the still trying to figure out this whole other vampire 🧛‍♂️. Well, I can't wait to get started on the next book, too. Anyways, you guys have to read/listen to this book; it is really good. and the narrator did a great job as always. I really like how she gets into character with all the parts. 👍👍

I normally tend to not read to many vampire books but this one caught my eye. It had a good plot although at times the brother and sister bond was nerve racking. It holds your interest so your looking forward to what happens next. I will be looking forward to the next book to see how the little sister will adapt to everything that has happened to her and her family. Along with seeing what type of power that she has. I would recommended this book to anyone who had a taste for vampire fiction with a twist.

God, I love Rhianons style so much!!!
She has this incredible talent of foreshadowing events and chill you to the bone.. Like the moment when the members of the family knew that there is something wrong with the coffin bound in chains and still being logical and modern people they ignored it... The entire trilogy is just amazing and I lost many nights reading it. You have to live Vanora and root for her love for her man of shadows...

I absolutely loved it!!! I suspected I would love it cause everything I've read from Rhianon Frater is just amazing.

This first season of In Darkness We Must Abide is fab.u.lous! I adored Vanora after a few pages and can't wait to see what happens to her and her siblings in the 2nd and 3rd season.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another of her books that are just to good!

I really don't think that she's written a stinker, every book I've read of hers I have enjoyed from cover to cover and this certainly is no exception. I am glad however that I bought the book as a complete whole season because it allowed the flow of the story to continue without interruption. I then bought episode 6 and am waiting for episode 7 to come out and fine it irritating to say the least!
Back to this complete season, just brilliant and so gutted when it finished. If you like the genre you'll love this, but personally I'd only buy the seasons as they come out complete to get the best out of the story.
