Very nice presentation of a collective mind and its interactions. It seemed the perfect recipe for a sci-fi masterpiece. Great expectations were created by this first book of the series. The other books, although, became a total disappointment. The author didn't keep the logical and biological construction, and many things stopped making sense... including the action itself! What a pity. It promised a lot.

Weird, weirder and weirdest. Well-plotted, good characters who are just trying to stay alive, and horror factor cranked high.
