JM is a British writer. She is currently working on the Darkness and Light series. The next book in the series will be The Prison. The series is likely to comprise of seven books, once all the ideas have stopped fizzing and she has managed to regale them into some kind of order and convince them to sit neatly in boxes, with lids on. She also writes short stories, poetry and articles, some of which will be available on this website.

JM grew up in Kent, studied English Literature and Language at university and now lives in a leafy London suburb with her husband and children. She likes steep learning curves, wild adventures, art, swimming in the sea, yoga, netball, dogs, roses, walking in beautiful landscape and chocolate with nuts.
