Stephanie Edwards has written a very enjoyable romantic suspense novel with strong elements of the supernatural. Blake Nelson catches her abusive fiancé, Parker, cheating on her. She dashes off to her late grandmother's beach cottage in search of peace. Parker follows her and, after an attempt to kill her, he dies himself in a police chase. What happens next is chilling! I read this in one sitting and found it a good read. As we progress into lockdown #2 it will pass a tense hour or two for readers who enjoy the genre.
