Daniel Shahar-Szichman is a businessman, an optometrist, and formerly, an officer in the Israel Defense Forces. He is also devoted to sports (horseback riding, motorcycling, diving, river boating, and skiing), playing the saxophone and painting. Besides his other activities, from a young age Daniel writes poetry, short stories and novels. His book, Beneath Our Skin, now in English, was published in Hebrew with much success. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and lives in Israel by the sea, together with his family and his dog Linda, a cute border collie. The fact that he studied economics and sociology is fully reflected in the way his characters and story are built in his books.

This was an interesting book to say the least (and not in a good way for me). I wanted to like this book more than I did but I couldn't get into it that much. It lacked something and there were plenty of things I just didn't agree with. I would give it a 2.5 out of 5. There were some good parts that's why I didn't rate it down and rated it up I am sure that others would enjoy this book unlike me.

suspense to lead us

This is the first time in reading this author. Ronny at first then later accompanied by Ariella that spin this tale having us get caught up into the suspense. Things could really go to pieces as it is said. Ronny has a wife Suzy whom someone else wants and tries to make so while he is away. When he comes back he will walk into more than a overflowing plate of life. He will also have many decisions to make while we waited to see what paths this goes into. As a first one of this author's is was good but did a couple of times I looked away.
