About this ebook

The thread of life is a delicate thing. It is so easily broken…

My name is Penn, and I’m a spinner. As one of the three Fates, it’s easy for me to know the plans for the lives of the humans. Mine, on the other hand, is a bit foggier. I guess things started to get out of control when I spun her—Kismet. My focus shifted, one thing led to another, and I wound up banished to Earth.

You’d think it’d be pretty hard to surprise me, but after my banishment, they just kept hitting me like a one-two knockout punch. When the people around me started dying before their time, I knew something was very wrong and I had to do whatever I could to set it right. The one thing I didn’t know was…what is the true fate of a Fate?

The Fate is such an intriguing tale. Stephanie Erickson has spun a tale as interesting as the Fate's spinning a life. Each step leads you down a path of wondering what will happen next and compelling you to want more - just not the end of the story! Penn is such an endearing hopeless romantic without even knowing it, you just can't help but root for him. So glad she has started this new series. I loved the Unseen Trilogy and can't wait to see what she has up her sleeve in the next book, and next...

it was different. Heartwarming but at the same time a plot twist or a conspiracy perhaps in place. A good short read.

About the author

Stephanie Erickson has always had a passion for the written word. She pursued her love of literature at Flagler College, in St. Augustine, FL, where she graduated with a BA in English. She has received several honors in her writing career, including recognition in the 72nd Annual Writer's Digest Competition.

After graduation, she married and followed her husband in pursuit of his dream. The Cure and The Blackout were written to reignite Stephanie's passion, when she found the time. Now that he is settled in his career, it's her turn to devote more time and energy into writing.

The Fate is Stephanie's seventh published novel, and 2016 promises four more releases! The Reaper, is set to release in March, followed by the conclusion of The Children of Wisdom trilogy in June.

Stephanie, of course, loves to read and write. She also enjoys living on the beach on the Florida's Treasure Coast. Most of all, she and her husband are in love with their baby girl.
