A novella (17,500 words). After a crash, Del wakes up in a fog, lost and confused. Led out of the fog, she finds an odd world, inhabited by folks who died at all different times, and who seem content with their current state of being. But all is not as it seems, and, for Del, contentment is elusive. A journey is before her - but where will it lead? Del makes a choice to follow a different path. Is she being led astray? And can she get back on the track in time?

This story was great. There was a lot of strange, evocative imagery, and there was a real sense of dreamlike dread through the whole thing. The idea of the afterlife being a dangerous place was an interesting one. Really enjoyed it.

A TERRIFIC SHORT STORY
Desolation of Fog by Tara Moeller
Review by Author Cliff Roberts

Desolation of Fog is a terrific short story. In the story Tara Moeller has a unique take on the afterlife which provides a wonderfully whimsical tale of the continuing battle between good and evil. Tara provides deep characters and a wonder filled afterlife world that has its own rules and its own challenges that each character must face in order to… well its short and I’ll let you read it rather than give it away. Tara provides a well written story that is sure to please young reads as well the older crowd. I recommend it. It’s a five star for great entertainment.
