About the author
I have written our first books, the Dark series duology, with my twin sister, Rebecca. We have always loved to write stories and finally made our dreams a reality by joining forces. We have very busy lives. I have two young boys and work as a solicitor so it helped to share the writing between us. We are very excited about it and do hope you enjoy our books as much as we enjoy writing them. We are already well into writing our next endeavour, a fantasy trilogy.
I and my twin sister, Victoria, have written our debut novels together in our maiden name. We both live in Bolton, UK, a lovely friendly town in Lancashire and home to Bolton Wanderers FC and famous people such as Peter Kay and Danny Boyle.
I have always loved to write. My favourite time at school was when we were asked to write a story. My deepest most fervent wish has always been to publish a book, not for the money but just to be able to give that escapism and enjoyment to people and to leave a legacy for my children.
In between juggling 7 children (4 biological and 3 foster children) and a supportive but sceptical husband, I have finally managed to achieve my dream. My husband still cannot quite believe that we finished what he always dubbed "The Neverending Story". Now that he sees that I am serious, the next ones should not take as long!
