About this ebook

What started out as a childhood friendship grew into an attraction that would have meant nothing but trouble for strait-laced Finn Jenkins and Sophie Dean, a daddy’s girl who liked to party with rock stars. When Finn returns home to Seattle after two tours of duty as a Navy SEAL, it doesn’t take long to realize he still has feelings for Sophie, who is no longer the impulsive, irresponsible young woman he walked away from all those years ago.

Sophie Dean has worked long and hard to shed the rock-n-roll bad girl reputation she earned at college. With her rebellious days behind her, Sophie now uses the prestige of the Dean family name and money to bankroll humanitarian aid. The only part of her past she can’t leave behind is the major crush she has on Finn Jenkins. When danger from an unknown quarter threatens Sophie’s mission and she needs protection, fate steps in and delivers a second chance with Finn.

If they survive the danger surrounding them, they might get a second chance at love…

Mission: Impossible to Surrender is a standalone romance in USA Today bestselling author Jacki Delecki’s heart-racing, pulse-pounding Impossible Mission military romantic suspense series featuring Special Forces operatives and the strong women who love them. Don’t miss a single exhilarating adventure into danger and passion.

Mission: Impossible to Resist

Mission: Impossible to Surrender

Mission: Impossible to Love

Mission: Impossible to Forget

Mission: Impossible to Wed

Mission: Impossible to Protect

Each steamy, action-packed standalone romance in the Impossible Mission series delivers a hellaciously stubborn, hot as blazes, alpha male military hero brought to his knees by a fierce, strong, independent woman. Only together can they complete their impossible mission.

“The story is very interesting... Navy SEALs, Nepal, Seattle, drug cartels, and a little boy who is trying to escape the clutches of his uncle who is rooted in the 15th century. This story and characters all come together in a page turner!” —LSE587, Amazon

“…the story of intrigue, violence, kidnapping and rescue, with a touch of romance. The events are busy, wild and not the ordinary group of men to the rescue. I loved it!” —Marlene, Amazon

“Brilliantly crafted and fast-paced read. Plenty of action to keep you entertained and of course, the obligatory family snark to make you smile. Sophie and Finn are hot, hot, hot.” —Nikki Brooks, Amazon

This fast-paced suspenseful novel grabs the reader's attention from the opening paragraph. Although the story is both exciting and romantic, I did find that it did a hop, skip and a jump from time to time, leaving me trying to figure out what had happened in the interim. Whilst Sophie Dean had redeemed herself after her wild college days, her reputation nevertheless precedes her. She has to work twice as hard to earn the respect of the public and her father and thinks she also has to win Finn's approval, not realising that she has always had it. Rescuing a young boy from his homeland, Sophie and Finn have their work cut out for them keeping ahead of those who like to destroy them. Despite being a strong-minded military man, Finn has a gentle heart and to the amusement of his friends, his feelings for Sophie are not as hidden as he had hoped. Sophie has been a spoilt princess in the past, but she has become quite capable of bringing her part to the rescue operation. Although the book is part of a series, it is nevertheless a standalone and comes to a very satisfactory conclusion. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.

Finn Jenkins is a tried and true SEAL devoted to protect Sophie, his friend since childhood. After a brief time apart on a mission, Finn returns to his regular duties of protecting Sophie. What he didn’t expect was the added complications. Sophie is the daughter of one of the richest, tech/security gurus in the USA. After some soul searching, she returns to the USA with a Punjabi orphan, Tariq that she and Finn are transporting to Orca’s Island. When a gang of renegade motorcyclists attempt to stop the trio on their trip, the adventure begins. With the assistance of more technology than one would ever perceive is available and a special operative team of SEAL brothers, Finn and Sophie work against the clock to rescue a kidnapped Tariq, undercover a mole, facilitate a successful refugee summit and still, eventually, get to Orca’s Island, all while keeping their roller coaster of emotions for each other under wraps (or so they thought). Hilarity, mystery, intrigue and adventure weave this story of two childhood friends into lovers as they overcome obstacles and odds to do what others believe is impossible. I was given an advanced copy of the book to read, in exchange for my honest review.
