About the Author
Her debut novel, "Snapdragon", was a ten-time finalist and a three-time winner for honors including the IPPYs, the Publisher's Weekly BookLife Prize For Fiction, the Foreword Indie Award, the HOLT Medallion, the New England Reader's Choice Award and the OKRWA National Reader's Choice award. Its sequel, "Chrysalis", was a finalist in the Emma Awards. Her novella, "The Art of Worship" was an IndieReader winner, a HOLT Medallion finalist, and a Passionate Plume finalist. Two of her three soon-to-be-released titles were 2018 Stiletto Contest finalists and the third was a finalist in the CIMRWA awards. She is also the 2018 recipient of Best Debut Author in RSJ's Emma Awards.
When she's not writing, Kilby goes to movie matinees alone, where she eats Chocolate Pocky and buttered popcorn and usually smuggles in not-a-little-bit of red wine. Kilby is a mother, a social-justice fighter, and above all else, a glutton for a good story.
