Remembrance

The characters are further developed and the stakes are raised, long buried secrets revealed. A decent read. Better than the first book ( as it should be). I would have given it a 5 star but noticed a rise in the crude language and F bombs over the first book. JRR Tolkien, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Emily Brontë, and a host of great authors wrote vast volumes of books without resorting to crude, despicable language. A vocabulary that's peppered with foul language is a mark of an uncreative mind.

One of the best I've read in a very long time. Great plot, action, mystery,a little bit of romance. Add to that a hint of magic that I believe will be central to the next book in the series, and I'm ready to binge read whole series.

I was loving it until it ended suddenly. I feel cheated, bring forced to purchase the next book to learn the rest of the story. Grrr!
