The story starts out with a man who has a huge ego and is very promiscuous, matter of fact, he doesn't even make an effort to know their names. While you might think that's not a true way of life, sadly I know too many people who live that way. However, he finds 3 here's after the fact, that he has a child whose mother is dying of cancer. It is so rewarding to see the change this man started to make for his daughter and then for himself as he started to fall in love with a Christian woman. Not only did Max find true forgiveness and redemption in Jesus Christ, he was also able to mend other relationships, share his new found faith and it all ends with a HEA.

About the author

Best selling author Lorana Hoopes is the author of both Christian romances and Children's early readers. She is originally from Texas but now lives in the PNW with her husband and three kids. Many of her books are set in Texas, close to her roots, and her Wishing Stone books are based on her three children.

Her Wishing Stone books have been picked up by several schools and used as a summer reading book. They employ a glossary of challenging words and a resource list at the end so children can do additional research. She will be adding a Christian line to the Wishing Stone series soon.

She has several contemporary romance series spanning women's fiction, small towns, football players, and billionaires. She also has a speculative fiction series and a romantic suspense series.
