About this ebook

Tired of recycled police stories?

When you can't call the cops.....Call Trunk

Dennis Trunk has a reputation for solving puzzles and he’s not afraid to get his hands dirty.

He won’t kill...unless he has to.

Your new guardian angel is a psychopath.

About one percent of the population are psychopaths. Trunk is highly functional. He has a steady job, an ex-wife, and a side business offering discreet services that work well with his condition.

From investigations to body disposal, Trunk has your back.

Drugs are a business and Art Piro is very successful.

An arsonist is destroying his business.

Trunk is hired to find out who is behind it and stop them. The list of suspects is long.

Local news is reporting the fires as the work of a vigilante.

But ever since Texas fell to a cartel, the drug business in nearby states has been on edge.

Then there are tensions within the motorcycle club at the center of the business. Art will be stepping down as club president next year and the succession plan is simple, may the best man win. At stake is control of one of the most profitable drug businesses in the country and millions in offshore banks.

Too many suspects and all of them ready to kill.

DEEP DOWN YOU'VE ALWAYS KNOWN THE TRUTH...

CRIME PAYS...

...most of the time

"Fascinating insight into criminal minds."

"another “Travis McGee” by John D. McDonald; but on STEROIDS"

"Our hero (or anti-hero, if you prefer) is not a good man, but sometimes good outcomes require bad solutions."

'Never aim for the apple. There are much better targets' - Trunk

I read the entire book but did not look forward to the next page. Not one character you want to root for. Everyone was despicable. No one had a redeeming characteristic. Everyone was a Ray Donovon. And to think there is a Book 2. No way Jose!

The 'Equalizer' meets Trunk. A psychotic with intelligence who cleans up messes for a fee or out of necessity. Unusual character, perspective & great read.

Written as if Trunk is sitting in front of you telling the story. Weaving back and forth thru his life. Have to say I loved it. Its certainly got a different perspective down to a T! I will defo continue on with the next one

About the author

My mother once called me an over-educated delinquent.

I corrected her because you can never have enough education.
