Caitlin has always been enthralled by the past, but nothing could prepare her for the discovery of a mysterious river rock that sends her hurtling back in time to pre-Civil War Charleston. Stranded and alone, Caitlin faces the terrifying reality of being trapped in a world she doesn't understand, and the danger she poses to those who try to help her.

As she struggles to unravel the mysteries of her sudden time travel, Caitlin is forced to confront the ugly truths hidden in Charleston's history. But with every passing moment, she is getting closer to being discovered. Time is running out and she must find a way to return to her own time or risk unraveling time itself.

A great start to what appears to be a series with action and heart.

About the author

Melody grew up loving the endless possibilities fantasy and Sci-Fi held between their pages or played on the big screen. At age ten, she picked up a pencil and began coming up with stories of her own that toyed with other worlds and the mysteries of this one.

When she's not delving into the worlds created by words, she's digging into Ghiradelli chocolates and creating memories with her families.
