I am so excited and wanted to talk about this amazing Romantic Suspense book I came across by Jane Blythe, One. Yes it has the romance piece that I love looking for. But sometimes I get a little bored and feel like every romance novel starts to sound the same. What I love with One, is that you have the whole love interest thing going on, but this book goes beyond it. I have read some Suspense Novels where it was too easy to figure out “Who the killer is” “What, When, and the Why it happened”. I get bored easily with those stories. One goes through your mind on the get go. One is eerily suspenseful, and has you looking over your shoulder every once in awhile. The story would stay with me after a good while when I had to put it down. Annabelle and Xavier are our two main characters. They both are a little bit broken from their past. One feels like they have no more love to give, and the other feels like they are unlovable. So you can see that these two are a perfect pair. You can truly see when you find your soulmate, they are truly your other half. Now as you read in the blurb, there is a killer on the loose and seems to be only after families ( father, mother, and kids) and only leaves one to survive. Annabelle has gone through so much and trying to live through the horror of this mess. The characters were great and I like that this story shows that they know what they are doing in the field of forensics. This book was like watching a movie. I got the chills, I flinched, and had so many emotions happening at one time. I was a mess at the end when Xavier had to make a choice that was HUGE! And yes it made a difference at the end. This causes some loose ends with the killer. So what now? I know in the second book, Two, there will be more twists and turns that will eventually come back to the original characters. The ending for One left you in almost a cliffhanger way. There was a little bit of closure, but still a major factor left open. Are you dying to find a really good romantic suspense book? Try this one. I bet your mind will start racing once you open the book just like mine did! This book is the reason why I love suspense and thriller novels!

Excellent!! One of THE BEST thriller books I have read so far! Very well written, keeps you on the edge of your seat and keeps you wanting more. I coudnt put it down, finished reading in a day. I LOVED IT!!

Prior to reading this book, a negative reviewer said she didn't like the ending or how it was written. I disagree, this is a well written romance/serial killer book.
