This is the 1st book I've read written by Scarlett Finn; I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the 1st book in the Kindred Series; it is a stand-alone book. After her date gets killed right before her eyes, Zara goes home to find an intruder in her home. Raven is mysterious and keeps you guessing what’s going to happen next. I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.

An intriguing storyline with interesting characters and a determined young woman who meets a very compelling man. The story has a good vibe and held my interest throughout. I requested a copy of this book and am voluntarily writing a review.

This book is dark and has quite a few twists in the plot along the way. Zara is a fantastic leading lady, she is stubborn at times, but is strong and knows what she wants and also knows when something is wrong. Raven is a brooding hot man, who is dark and secretive, but he has to be because of what he does. This story just flows off the page and you won't want to put it down once you pick it up. It has everything you want in a book, well everything I want in a book anyway, it's got hot steamy sex scenes, it's intriguing enough with plot twists that keep you thinking about what's going to happen next, edge of your seat stuff. Definitely a book I'd recommend.
