Practical & Inspiring Advice for the Would-Be Writer

I found this book helpful as a would-be writer taking his first steps into the cretive field. Although it main focus on building disciplined habits within the writing process, it also offered me inspiring and useful advice on how to get started in the business of self-publishing. I have recognized that Meadows’ advice is useful for anyone in any kind of creative pursuit. As a musician, for example, I found discussion about setting up systems and habits to write consistently and effectively useful for guitar practice and music composition as well. There are many books out there that discuss the in’s and out’s of how to write, what to write and how to self-publish for Success, but few authors address the discipline one needs to build to become successful. Martin Meadows’ book helps fill a rarely addressed and gravely important gap in a would-be writer’s education.
