Power and Fury Review
Okay, so let me start with what I like about the book. I like the plot of the book. It has good characters. It made me want to keep reading. That is good. Now let me say what I didn’t like. I didn’t care for the author’s writing style. Throughout the book, there were chapters that were almost repeats of chapters earlier in the book, with only a few minor details difference. What’s up with that? Is there any reason the author couldn’t have combined the repeat chapters into one chapter and put the few extra details into the other chapter? At first I just accepted it, but it started to become quite irritating after a while. It would’ve been one thing if they had been chapters telling the same series of events from two different people’s point of view, but that wasn’t what this was. It’s a bit of a shame because this could’ve been an excellent book if the author hadn’t felt the need to do that.
