Trinidad Author Brenda Mohammed is a multi-genre, award-winning author, poet, and literary critic.
She authored a book for new and aspiring writers How To Write for Success.
She is a member of World Nations Writers Union and Honorary member of World Higher Literary Academic Council of WNWU.
Brenda is a former Bank Manager from the lovely island of Trinidad in the Caribbean.
She is the holder of a Banking Diploma from the Institute of Bankers, London.
When she branched off into Insurance Underwriting she obtained a Life Underwriters Certificate from the American College, USA.
She is working on her 21st book to be published in February 2019.
Her first book published was I am Cancer Free: A Memoir, which she wrote to tell persons in a similar position that cancer is a battle you have to fight and win.
The book was a winner of Mc Grath House Indie Book Awards in category Non-Fiction in September 2016 and won an award from Readers Favorite International Book Awards 2018 in the category Health and Fitness.
Her science fiction futuristic thriller Zeeka Chronicles: Revenge of Zeeka. won several awards, the last being from Reader's Favorite International Book Awards 2018 in the category young adult thriller.
Two of her other books, My Life as a Banker, and Your time is Now won awards. My Life as a Banker won an award for Best Bio/Memoir in Metamorph's Publishing Summer Indie Awards 2016 and Your Time is Now is the recipient of the IHIBRP 5 Star Recommended Read Award Badge.
She is the Founder of the Facebook Group How to Write for Success.
She conducts a writer empowerment program called Brenda's Book Reviews in the How To Write For Success Group endorsed by Motivational Strips.
On November 6th, 2018 she was appointed Vice-Chancellor, Motivational Strips Academy of Literary Excellence and Wisdom by the Founder Shiju H. Pallithazheth, who said, "Brenda has great acumen as an award-winning author, poet, and literary critic with expertise in book reviews and deep analysis."
On 29th December 2018, Brenda was awarded the World Laureate in Literature 2018 by World Nations Writers Union and on 31st December 2018, she received a Global Literature Guardian Award from the Founder of Motivational Strips.
