The Cowboy’s Reality Bride, written by Lorana Hoopes, is the first book in The Blushing Bride Series. The story is a cute, comical look at reality TV. The main characters, Tyler and Laney, don’t watch reality TV and are unaware of all the things that go into making a television show. Some would say that Tyler and Laney were naïve and their expectations totally unrealistic. I found The Cowboy’s Reality Bride very enjoyable. I liked how the author spun the story. The plotline is realistic and seems similar to most of today’s reality dating shows. The book is clean with no explicit language or sexual content. Also, the book is an easy read; only about 150 pages, and can be read in one evening. As with all of Ms. Hoopes books, there is a HEA ending.

The Cowboy's Reality Brides is a fun, clean, Christian romance. Lorana Hoopes writes the best stories and characters. Laney and Tyler were both true to their faith. They asked God what he wanted for them - and they listened. There are many laughable moments with klutzy Laney especially. This is another great story from Ms. Hoopes. It is one I will read again!

A very interesting read just from the logistical point of view, but made so much better by our endearing characters. Top notch!
About the author
Best selling author Lorana Hoopes is the author of both Christian romances and Children's early readers. She is originally from Texas but now lives in the PNW with her husband and three kids. Many of her books are set in Texas, close to her roots, and her Wishing Stone books are based on her three children.
Her Wishing Stone books have been picked up by several schools and used as a summer reading book. They employ a glossary of challenging words and a resource list at the end so children can do additional research. She will be adding a Christian line to the Wishing Stone series soon.
Her first series, The Heartbeats series, focuses on the sanctity of life. Though romances, they aren't your traditional romances and lean close to Women's Fiction. This series includes Where It All Began, The Power of Prayer, When Hearts Collide, and A Past Forgiven.
Then she has her Star Lake series inspired by her love of the small town life. Full of quirky characters, they are books you will enjoy again and again. When Love Returns, Once Upon a Star, and Love Conquers All are the current books in the series, but Lorana has plans to return to Star Lake soon and give Trudy her story.
Lorana also joined with other authors to write in the Lawkeepers series. She has four books in the series along with a spin off in her Sage Creek series. The historical books are Lawfully Matched, Lawfully Justified, and the Scarlet Wedding. The contemporary books are Lawfully Redeemed and Lawfully Pursued.
Lorana also has three books currently in her Sweet Billionaires series with a fourth on the way. The Billionaire's Secret, Brush with a Billionaire, and The Billionaire's Christmas Miracle are the current books.
Last but not least, Lorana has two other books. Love Redeemed is part of the Second Chance with You series that Lorana wrote with other authors. The Still Small Voice is currently her only non romance Christian fiction. Inspired by true events, this book is similar to the Left Behind series and Lorana has more planned for the series.
