About this ebook

Heroes Don’t Travel-#2 Dystopian Thriller Heroes Series is a fast paced dystopian science fiction thriller from the author Roo I MacLeod set in a despotic world of terrorism and evil cartels. It features the vagrant anti-hero Ben Jackman, the vigilante known as Wolf Girl and their eclectic band of draft dodging associates.

Ben Jackman is front page news for the alleged murder of two Old London Town coppers.

When a girl goes missing in the Lowlands, Wolf Girl takes the job and volunteers Ben to fetch the girl back to her father. Any objections Ben offers to the job are silenced by the warrant issued for his arrest and the noose measured for his neck.

But this mission is no click and collect transaction because the Lowlands are ruled by the Gypsies and they don’t welcome strangers.

The town is in turmoil. Guns have been fired and bodies litter the streets, because the missing girl has crossed the Gypsies and they want blood.
Anyone’s blood.

A lot of dystopian stories are rehash of previous stories by other people. This is a story that could happen in any world but is set in a believable dystopian London. Can't wait to read what happens in the next story.
