Things have not been easy for Finley Fox and she is having a hard time managing her family and her family’s property and business. Archer Weston fixes difficult problems for a living. He is there to get Finley to sell Fox Cottages. Archer and Finley are immediately attracted to each other and things heat up fast. They both have a lot of emotional baggage on top of being on different sides. This book is well written with fairly low angst despite the drama. Great characters and great introduction into the new world of this book series. I very much enjoyed reading this story and I definitely recommend it as a solid small town family drama/romance. There is no cheating, no OM/OW drama, and a beautiful HEA.

As usual, Mary Frame hits a knock-out with her unique mix of funny, sweet, sexy, quirky and sometimes weird characters and plot. This time Piper and Archer are the lead couple coming together in the most unexpected of meet-cutes in a messy, crazy entanglement that is so much like the real world it can only have been inspired by someone’s actual craziness. As the characters say, we all have baggage. Some people just carry theirs better than others. This book frames the luggage perfectly and stack

Well blended contemporary romance. I love this writing style and I am impressed as to how everything complimented without overpowering with such a sweet couple's love journey. Enjoyed getting to know them, with comical moments, and a taste of their baggage, with emotional moments, I didn't want it to end and hope to be able to read more about them and the rest of the crew. New to me author does an excellent job with this one. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

About the author

Mary Frame is a full time mother and wife with a full time job. She has no idea how she manages to write novels, but it probably helps that she's a dedicated introvert. She doesn't enjoy writing about herself in third person, but she does enjoy reading, writing, dancing, and damaging the ear drums of her co-workers when she randomly decides to sing to them.

She lives in Reno, Nevada with her husband, two children and a border collie named Stella.
