But when deadly predators invade their sanctuary and their closest neighbor falls under the rule of a ruthless extremist faction, peace becomes a distant memory. 

For Ash and Caleb Solomon, the dangers extend far beyond their home. While traveling outside Beartooth, they encounter a group of desperate geologists fleeing a nation unraveling under violence, division, and corruption. The recent passage of the Continuity in Crisis Bill—suspending elections in times of turmoil—has plunged America into a dark new era, pushing the country toward the brink of civil war.
