About the authors
St. Thomas Church is a Church planting movement that embodies older Christian practices and beliefs with modern expressions of worship. Our desire is to spread the Good News of Jesus everywhere, making disciples in the faith. Be involved with a move of God in community with others. God could be calling you to plant a Mission Church in your area.
St. Thomas Church embraces the basic Biblical doctrines affirmed by the wider Christian Church throughout the ages. Our theological statements are in general agreement with historical Protestant churches. Two of the most widely accepted Christian doctrinal statements, the Apostles’ and the Nicene creeds, are included in our liturgies.
Greg Gordon is the founder of SermonIndex.net, which was established in 2002. Millions of audio sermons have been distributed through this world-wide ministry. He has also been involved in organizing over 12 international historic revival conference events where thousands of lives were impacted.

In this world where human values have changed so much, we find again a book that leads us to approach the veneration of God. In this case, through the primary practices that were used at the beginning of the appearance of Christ, in this way we can approach the veneration of Jesus in a much more primitive and at the same time purer way, emphasizing our direct relationship with him and through the house churches this book prepares you to form them. An interesting book that presents you with a different way of approaching Jesus, emphasizing the ease that this way gives to achieve it.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2025I didn’t know much about the Apostolic Church before I read this book. I now have a renewed respect for the liturgical practices and the Biblical truths that inspired this book.
Sadly, the modern church has moved away from many of the foundational beliefs and practices that we see in the Book of Acts.
I received this book free from the author, publisher, or other source. My only obligation is to provide a fair and honest review.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 8, 2025I was relieved to receive a copy of this book. Amid the entertaining, program-oriented church services, I have often thought to myself, there must be more!
This phenomenal book opens that door to that something more in the way of worship and intimacy with the Lord, explaining worship as the apostles did before any denomination or modern-church style of worship that dominates mega churches – What is the Ancient Worship Movement? Inspired, the reader will discover what the early Church fathers and apostles did to believe and receive more of the beauty of Christ in their being. A transformational read!
This book is an invitation into true worship and the timeless practices of Christ-centered connection.
