Breaking the Hate (The Breaking Series Book 1) Kindle Edition
Sadie's job is to smear her brother's opponent — not fall in love with him.
But when the hotly contested matchup between her brother Brute and her crush Hawk brings them all to the same city, a chance encounter turns into much more than a one-night stand.
Sadie finds herself walking a fine line between responsibility, deception, and head-over-heels love.
One thing's for certain: all hell is gonna break loose when her brother finds out she's been secretly dating his rival.
This is the prequel novella to the Breaking series, which follows swoony alpha fighter heroes and the women that bring them to their knees.

About the author

Ember Leigh has been writing romance novels since she was far too young. A native of northern Ohio, she currently resides near Lake Erie with her Argentinean husband, where they run an Argentinian-American food truck and wrangle three wild boys.
Whether it’s an MMA hero vying for his best friend’s little sister or self-made billionaires fighting for the ones who got away, there’s plenty of heat and heart in every book.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 30, 2025You know, I was really excited about reading this book .. but now I’m very disappointed at how it ended. Definitely could’ve did the chapters with pov .. that would’ve been more helpful to know which character was talking .. and then when you were talking for that character, you were using third person instead of first person which is weird … the book was It too short & the way you did hawk.. very disappointed.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 24, 2024This is a prequel novella to the series so it was understandably shorter but I honestly feel like it just wasn’t needed. It doesn’t add much to the other books from what I’ve read so far and it was hard to even relate to the characters or root for them because we don’t really get to know them.
