As I type this, several amazing beta readers are having a go at my newest book, and I cannot wait to hear their thoughts. It's a quieter story, but throughout it, there's an undercurrent of danger that my heroine has a hard time discerning--much to her hero's frustration. Though much of what she does affects him that way, especially because there are times when she's right, and, to his shock, he is not. I can't wait to share their story with you. Biography

I’m a New Yorker born and bred with roots burrowed deep in Brooklyn. The sights and sounds of the city and suburbs are what propel my muse into action, helping me create new characters and take them into dark and dangerous territories…only to have them escape by sheer wit and courage.

I’m a proud southpaw. A former homeschooling mom, a calligrapher, shelter volunteer, and baker. My patronus is a Grey Speckled Stallion.

From my perch here, in the heart of the City, it often feels like the world is a morning’s stretch away. I can enjoy the crash of waves on the shore, crisp pine-scented mountain air, compelling aromas from a plethora of ethnic restaurants, smooth jazz from clubs like the Blue Note, museums, street vendors and, yes, even dirty-water dogs…all without leaving my little piece of the world.

What more could a city girl want?

Besides books. And cookies. And coffee. And some classic rock.
