Stella Burns has fallen into a sudden depression. A normally happy and friendly Stella has become irritable, sad, and she’s drinking in the middle of the day. Her young neighbor, Timmy, sets out to find the reason for her unhappiness and fix whatever is wrong.

Could it have something to do with the woman in the photo on her mantle? When Timmy looks at the picture, Stella seems to bristle. Who is the woman and what does she have to do with Stella’s melancholy?
