Ray came to Middleburg looking for answers to the deep questions. Now he’d just like to get out of there alive.
In the fall of the wonderful, terrible year of 1968, Ray Watts comes to Middleburg seeking the answer to the question—What’s the meaning of life?
When a crazy guy with a big knife evicts him from the attic he’s been crashing in and steals his guitar, he’s not only homeless, but has lost his sole means of support. He finds a new place to live, only to stumble on an unspeakably gruesome scene.
He meets someone who might have the answer. But knowing the meaning of life won’t do him a lot of good if he’s dead.
