Brooke Payton can’t believe Pete Blackwood has moved back to Peach Valley. She’d had a crush on him every single day of her teenage years. Running into him unexpectedly brought those feelings rushing back. He was more handsome and more likeable than she’d remembered. Uh-oh.

Pete was amazed at how Brooke had grown up since he’d seen her last. She was a knock out. He was blown away. As he got to know her as an adult, he was even more impressed with her heart. She was truly a special woman. He was probably too late, though. It appeared that her life was well established without a place for him.
