My Mom’s a Super Hero

Twelve year old Ben’s mom keeps letting him down. She missed the science fair awards where he barely lost… for the fourth year in a row. She’s always running late, never volunteers for anything and works too much. Ben’s not surprised when she doesn’t answer the phone after he pukes in PE.

When Ben finds himself locked out of his house, and sitting in a puddle in his own backyard, he’s in a pretty dour mood. Until his mom streaks through the sky and lands on their back porch.

No freaking way.  Ben’s mom is a super hero.

She’s struggling with a case she can’t solve—a kidnapper targeting rich kids at Ben’s school.  When Ben’s best friend Adam gets kidnapped, he wants to help.  Unfortunately, the hero rules prohibit Ben from knowing about his mom’s second job.  Ben’s memories will get wiped if his mom’s boss finds out he knows anything.  Should Ben trust his unreliable mom to save Adam alone or risk his own mind to help save his friend?
