Description
When the cosmos were little more than light and dust, there was Mother Ashra . . .
The world of Pérem was forged through both creative and destructive cosmic powers by the Goddess Ashra. Her descendants were split into two groups, creation-wielders and destruction-wielders and it has been over ten thousand millennia since anyone possessed both cosmic powers.
Sofia Diakos Matsouka is the granddaughter of the two most powerful matriarchs on the Northern continent and has somehow been blessed with both. Her mother, Elisa, desperately sought to hide her daughter’s gifts from the Gran Empress, but was killed. Sofia attributes her death to her father, whom she’s never met.
Traveling the continent to avenge her mother, Sofia meets a male healer named Khaled. The Order of Ashra forbids her from any kind of romantic relationships, but despite this, she falls in love.
Sofia is torn between what she has been taught all of her life and what she truly feels.
