My name’s Ace and most of my life has barely been diary-worthy. As I teetered on the verge of sixteen, all I cared about was getting my driver’s license. If I’d known that trying out for the swim team was going set my life on fire, I would have stuck with field hockey. Maybe that’s a lie. Maybe I would have done it anyway.
